Health & Dental Insurance

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has changed the way we get health insurance. Individuals and families can now obtained health insurance with either off-exchange plans or on-exchange (Marketplace) plans. Depending on your income and number of dependents you may be eligible for Premium Tax Credits, which will reduce your monthly premium.

You are now required, by law, to have creditable health care coverage unless certain exemptions apply to you. The fee for not having health insurance in 2016 is calculated 2 different ways – as a percentage of your household income or per person. You’ll pay whichever is higher.

Have a small business and looking for a health plan to cover your employees? Your business may be eligible for a Small Business Health Tax Credit for up to 50% of the premiums you cover.

Life & Burial Insurance

When was the last time you had your policy reviewed by an insurance professional? Has it been greater than 10 years? Like technology products, which keep getting better and cost less over time, significant enhancements have been made to insurance products over the last 10-15 years. For the same premium you're paying now you may be able to upgrade to a new policy and get better performing policy features. Give us a call to schedule a complementary insurance analysis and review.

Today a funeral can cost upwards of $15,000, with most averaging between $7,000 and $10,000. Social Security provides a death benefit of just $255.00.
